- BPM|Protos helps NAFN fight Fraud
- Crawley Borough Council uses BPM|Protos
- RCI uses BPM|Protos for Odyssey
Although BPM|Protos is easy to pick up and intuitive to use we strongly recommend that you take the formal training course to help you get the most out of the product.
Training courses may be dedicated to your organisation and held on your premises. These courses are available for up to 6 people.
If you only have one or two members of staff who need training or need a refresher course we also run open training courses each month at our offices in Runcorn. Please see the Events section for the dates of the next scheduled course.
The initial training course takes 2 days and is designed to be interactive with lots of exercises for the delegates to complete. There are no pre-requisites and no experience of process modelling is required.
During the course we cover:
- Finding your way around BPM|Protos
- Modelling simple processes
- Creating HTML and rtf reports
- Adding structure to your models (sub-processes)
- Introducing more complex model constructs
- Adding Roles (modelling ‘the who’)
- Adding Data Objects (documents, folders, computer applications, data groups and data elements – modelling the ‘with what’)
- BPM|Protos Library
- Re-using, copying and using link models
- Extra information (adding hyperlinks to documents, including metrics, e-mail contacts and static data)
- Advanced reporting and analyses
For a full summary of the course please see the BPM|Protos Training Overview (pdf).
We also recommend a third day’s training 3-4 weeks after the initial course where we may go through someof the more advanced features of BPM|Protos, review any models, revise any areas of the product where you have any queries and reinforce the initial training. In our experience the extra day is invaluable to enable you to becomea proficient and confident BPM|Protos user.
